Brown County Sheriff’s Office
• Arrested a 22-year-old Clements man for DWI after a suspicious activity call was received at 7:19 p.m. Sept. 26 about a vehicle with a blown tire near 420th Avenue and 220th Street in North Star Township. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Received a report of side-by-side that rolled on CR 24, Burnstown Township at 9:12 p.m. Sept. 22. A 35-year-old Springfield woman and 38-year-old Springfield man had possible injuries.
• Received a vandalism report at 1:55 p.m. Sept. 23 near CR 8/Eden Rd., Eden Township. Signs and windows were broken on a skid loader. A report was done for documentation.
New Ulm Police
• Received a burglary report at 3:05 p.m. Sept. 26 at 1117 S. Valley St. Items valued at $4,927 were reported stolen including three fishing tackle boxes, DeWalt tools, BB gun, filet knife and hunting items. Forced entry was made to a garage.
• Received a report at 6:24 p.m. Sept. 26 of a BMX bike damaged at 315 3rd South St. A value was not available.
• Received a report of juvenile trouble involving a 13-year-old New Ulm female on the 100 block, Highland Ave. S at 8:47 p.m. Sept. 26. No damage or injuries were reported. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.
• Observed a white pickup truck stopped in the middle of the road at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 24 at 1st North and State streets. A 27-year-old New Ulm woman and 28-year-old New Ulm woman were cited for open bottle. The 28-year-old was transported to detox.
• Received a one-vehicle crash report at 4 p.m. Sept. 26 at Westridge Road and Highland Avenue. Gala R. Beckendorf, 66, Nicollet, was driving a 2019 Toyota 4-Runner on Westridge Road, jumped a curb and hit a light pole. Vehicle damage was severe, and it was disabled. The driver had minor hand and chin injuries.
