• Responded to a two-vehicle accident at 4:38 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 14 near Sleepy Eye.

An 18-year-old woman from New Ulm was driving a Subaru north on Highway 14 and stopped at the intersection of Highway 14, when Hyundai Elantra driven by Kenneth Conrad Sanz, 59, of Ceylon, Minnesota, collided with the Subaru at the stoplight.

Sanz sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center. The report indicates Sanz was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol was involved.

The New Ulm woman was uninjured and was wearing a seat belt.
