New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 9th North and State streets at 7:36 p.m. May 19. A 10-year-old bicyclist exited an alley without stopping or looking and pulled in front of a 2021 Polaris XP 1000 utility terrain vehicle (UTV) driven by Jeffrey L. Nelson, 43, New Ulm. The bicyclist fell and was injured to an unknown extent. The vehicles were not damaged. Nelson wore a seat belt.

• Received a report from the sister of a 67-year-old New Ulm man who said he was run over by a woman driving a black four-door pickup truck at Broadway Street and 3rd Street North at 12:15 a.m. May 18. The man was driven to his residence by a white woman with black hair and glasses. She said she was driving to work at 3M and claimed she had a green light. The man later realized he was badly injured and was later taken to New Ulm Medical Center. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a report of a fight at Hillside Apartments, 1513 Payne St. N. at 1:53 p.m. Friday. A 44-year-old New Ulm man said he was confronted by a 30-year-old New Ulm man about missing medication. The suspect was reported to have had a knife. The victim had cuts on his left hand and his ear was red. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Responded to a disturbance at Sportsman’s Park at 10:38 a.m. Friday. A New Ulm man did not pay to stay at the campground Thursday night. He refused to pay and was told to leave the park. A report was done for documentation.
