New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries on the 600 block of 13th North Street at 5:23 p.m. April 25. Thomas Buskey, 35, St. Peter, was legally parked on 13th North, when a 2005 Ford F550 driven by Max D. S. Machau, 32, Courtland, tried to turn into an alley and head southbound when a trailer sideswiped the Honda. Damage was moderate to the left side of the Honda and very minor to the right rear of the trailer.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 20th North St. and Broadway at 11:51 a.m. April 26, 2022. Casey E. Limmer, 42, Sleepy Eye, was driving a 2016 Buick Envision northbound when Rylee D. Ruehling, 19, New Ulm, driving a 2011 Mercury Milan, was westbound, tried to turn left from 20th North onto Broadway Street. Limmer reported right arm and shoulder pain and was transported to New Ulm Medical Center by Allina Ambulance. Damage was moderate, disabling to the Buick front end and severe to the driver’s side of the Mercury. Both drivers wore seat belts.

• Received a school bus stop arm violation report at 3:41 p.m. April 25 at Broadway and 20th North streets. Police interviewed the suspect, a 16-year-old New Ulm female and the bus driver. A report will go to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a theft report at 8:18 a.m. April 26 of a counterfeit $50 bill passed at Expressway, 509 Main St. W. An investigation will include a store video suspect search. A report was done for documentation.
