Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a one-vehicle crash with life-threatening injuries on TH 4, Martinsburg Township, Renville County at 8:39 a.m. April 19, 2022. Steven A. Volstad, 68, Fairfax, was driving a 2003 Ford F150 northbound on TH 4, left the road and rolled in the west ditch. He was flown from the scene by North Memorial Air Care with serious injuries. He wore a seat belt and airbags deployed. Alcohol was not involved. Hector Fire/Ambulance and the Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 3:41 p.m. April 19, 2022 on TH 15 at CR 102, Cottonwood Township, Brown County. Meagan L. Cummings, 28, Sanborn, was driving a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country northbound on TH 15, attempted a u-turn ahead of a Ford F-350 driven by Adam R. Reinhart, 41, Courtland. Vehicles collided in the southbound lane. Cummings was transported to New Ulm Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Hanska Fire & Allina Medical assisted.
• Responded to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 212 and Tagus Aven., Collins Township, McLeod County at 12:17 a.m. April 20, 2022. Joshua M. Dalsky, 25, Gilman, Wisconsin, was driving a 2017 Peterbilt semi eastbound on Highway 212, went onto shoulder, into ditch and rolled. He wore a seat belt and was transported to Hutchinson Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Alcohol was not involved.
Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a vehicle fire on 286th Street near 431st Avenue at 3:17 p.m. April 17. Lonnie Westworth, 52, Le Sueur, was traveling eastbound on 286th Street when the vehicle started on fire. He was not injured. Vehicle damage was substantial. The Arlington Fire Department assisted.
Springfield Police
• Responded to a gas drive-off at the BP Station, 221 Rock St. W. at 10:18 a.m. April 19. A woman came into the station and grabbed about $70 worth of items, but said she didn’t have enough money, so she left them on the counter. A man put $59.47 worth of gas in a black Kia car and left the station with the woman in the car. Police are searching for the vehicle by Missouri license number BB9SSN. It did not come up on a database. A report was done for documentation.
