New Ulm Police
• Received a one-vehicle crash report without injuries on Highland Avenue at 12:04 p.m. Nov. 27. Carol Steinhaus, 78, was driving a 2013 GMC Terrain southbound on Highland Ave., left the road and hit a tree on the west side of the road. Damage was disabling to the front, driver’s side of the vehicle. She wore a seat belt.
• Responded to a verbal domestic disturbance involving a 26-year-old New Ulm woman and 28-year-old New Ulm man on North Franklin Street at 10:42 a.m. Nov. 27. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.
• Arrested a 34-year-old Glencoe man at the Brown County Evaluation Center, Detox Division, 510 Front St. N. at 8:29 a.m. Nov. 27. The man reportedly damaged a door and was wanted on Brown County warrants. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
• Responded to an intoxicated report at 2nd St. N. and Minnesota St. at 4:25 p.m. Nov. 26. A 33-year-old New Ulm man was released to a sober party. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a one-vehicle crash report with non-life threatening injuries at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 27 on TH 15 at the Fort Road, Lafayette Township, Nicollet County. Samantha N. Acevedo, 25, Apple Valley, was driving a 2017 Honda CRV southbound on TH 15 and left the road near the Fort Road. She was transported to New Ulm Medical Center, wore a seat belt and an airbag deployed. Allina Ambulance and the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
