New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at 8:41 p.m. Nov. 6 at New Ulm Mobile Village. Joseph Hoffrogge, 17, 2526 Bridge St. S. was driving a 2013 Chevy Malibu that struck a legally parked 1998 Honda Civic owned by Ricky Jimenez Jr., 21, 2526 Bridge St. S. Damage was moderate and disabling to the driver’s side owned bumper of the Honda and moderate, non-disabling to the Chevy.

• Received a call about a large amount of cash found at Family Dollar, 1605 S. Broadway at 8:01 p.m. Friday. A report was done for documentation. No suspects reported. Police are investigating the report.

• Received a scam/fraud report at 1:33 p.m. Monday at the District 88 Business Office. The office learned a company gained the school district credit card number and attempted to buy a computer online for $5,000. A report was done for documentation. Police continue to investigate the report.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a theft report at 3:42 p.m. Saturday at the Sleepy Eye Liquor Store, 902 Main St. E. A suspect paid for a bill of slightly more than $100 with a counterfeit $100 bill, police said. The bill was not determined to be counterfeit until after the suspect left the store. A report was done for documentation.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a call at 1:48 a.m. Monday on Shag Road involving a 49-year-old woman with mental health issues. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.

• Received a one-vehicle crash report on CR 7, Prairieville Township at 7:06 a.m. Sunday. Kathryn Bedner, 21, Darfur, was driving a 2004 Chevy Silverado, swerved to avoid a deer, entered the ditch, hit a directional sign, rolled and entered the north ditch. She wore a seat belt and was not injured.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 19 near at the intersection of CR 4 and 246th Street, five miles northeast of Winthrop. Tyler Hansen, 27, Annandale, reportedly rolled multiple times. He was extracted from the vehicle and later flown to a metro hospital. The Winthrop Fire and Ambulance assisted. The crash is under investigation.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries at 7:52 p.m. Nov. 21 on U.S. Highway 212 and Morningside Dr., Helen Township, McLeod County. Brittany L. Louden, 30, Zimmerman, was driving a 2008 Kia Spectra westbound on Highway 212 and Stephanie S. Haggenmiller, 27, Glencoe, was driving a 2005 Chrysler Sebring northbound on Morningside Dr. when the vehicles collided. A four-year-old Glencoe child in the Chrysler was transported to Glencoe Hospital. All drivers and passengers including Parker P. Alsleben, 21, Arlington and a one-year-old child from Zimmerman wore seat belts and were not injured. Alcohol was not involved. Glencoe Police and Fire Departments, Allina Ambulance and the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries was reported at 6:49 p.m. Nov. 20 on State Highway 68, Fortier Township, Yellow Medicine County. Scott L. Verhelst, 47, Canby, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on TH 68, left the road and hit a culvert. He wore a seat belt and was transported to a Canby hospital. The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Canby Ambulance/Fire/Police assisted. Alcohol was involved.
