Brown County Sheriff

• Received a theft report at1:48 p.m. Sunday of $500 cash taken from a vehicle on the 23000 block of CR 24, Stark Township. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a garbage dump report at 9:14 a.m. Monday at 26000 block of 200th St., Stark Township. Five or six black plastic trash bags were found with miscellaneous household items plus dirty diapers. A Sleepy Eye woman is suspected. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police

• Received a disturbance report at 12:02 p.m. Monday at the New Ulm Affordable Motel, 1427 S. Broadway. A 42-year-old New Ulm man told police the motel manager, a 23-year-old New Ulm man, entered his unit while it was occupied and took a swing at him but did not hurt him. The Brown County Attorney’s Office will consider burglary and assault charges.
