New Ulm Police

• Stopped a 20-year-old New Ulm man for speeding at 19th St. S. and Minnesota. The man had no vehicle insurance. A report was forwarded to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a report at 10:06 p.m. July 20 of a 52-year-old New Ulm woman shoplifting about $8 worth of ice cream and a bag of ice from the Holiday Station Store, 1201 Westridge Road. Reports were sent to Brown County Human Services and the Committee Against Domestic Abuse.

• Responded to a harassment complaint received at 5:36 p.m. July 20 involving a 74-year-old New Ulm man on the 1100 block of Payne St. N. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a report of $450 removed from a bank account at 4:43 p.m. July 20. Police contacted the bank and had the money refunded to the account holder. A report was sent to the Federal Trade Commission.
