New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at Palmer Avenue and U.S. Highway 14 at 11:47 a.m. July 8. A 2017 Toyota driven by Dennis C. Rosjord, 69, Eagle Lake, was following a 2008 Cadillac driven by Adolfo A. Sanchez, 21, Sleepy Eye, too closely and contacted the rear end when Sanchez slowed. Damage was minor to both vehicles.
• Received a theft report at 9:06 a.m. July 8 of about $135 worth of stolen make-up July 7 from a day room at Broadway Haus, 300 N. Broadway. A report was done for documentation.
Sibley County
Sheriff’s Office
• Responded at 7:58 p.m., July 8 to an equipment accident on Sibley Heights Lane. Daniel Hobday, 29, Le Sueur, was driving a skid loader near his house when it malfunctioned, causing his foot to become stuck between the bucket and cab. He was transported to a local hospital. His injuries are unknown. Le Sueur Police and Ridgeview Ambulance Service assisted.
