New Ulm Police

• Responded to a welfare check request at 2526 Bridge St. S. at 4:34 p.m. June 14. An intoxicated 63-year-old New Ulm man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center Detox Division. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded to a welfare check request at 1801 State St. N. at 7:50 p.m. June 14. An intoxicated 60-year-old New Ulm woman was transported to detox. A report was done for documentation.

Springfield Police

• Responded to an assault report at 106 N. Spring St., Springfield at 11:32 p.m. June 12. A 59-year-old Springfield man was arrested for alleged fifth-degree assault involving a juvenile. A report was sent to the Springfield City Attorney’s Office. The juvenile was transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center and released.

State Patrol

• Received a one-vehicle crash report on TH 4 and 535th Avenue, Cosmos Township, Meeker County at 5:22 p.m. June 12. A 2016 Ford Explorer driven by Anthony J. Carver, 24, St. Cloud, was southbound on TH 4, went off the road to the left, hit an embankment, rolled in the ditch and caught fire. He was transferred to North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale, with non-life threatening injuries. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office and North Air Care assisted.
