Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Stopped a 28-year-old Comfrey man at Brown Street E. and CR 16 at 8:29 p.m. Dec. 27. The man was cited for driving after license suspension, failure to change address on driver’s license and failure to drive with due care. A report was done for documentation.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a 21-year-old New Ulm woman for expired registration and no proof of insurance at Broadway and 13th Street North at 2:38 a.m. Dec. 28. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a burglary call at Sleepy Eye Car Wash, 600 Main St. E. at 10:44 a.m. Dec. 28. The owner reported a coin box lock was drilled out and an undetermined amount of money was taken probably sometime Sunday night. Damage was estimated at $1,000. A report was done for documentation.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a hit and run crash report in Clements at 8:53 a.m. Dec. 28. A Ford Focus parked on Pine Street, near CSAH 16, and was hit in the rear corner, causing damage to the doors. Debris from a Chrysler Town & Country minivan was found at the scene. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at 507-637-4036.
