New Ulm Police

• Assisted the Brown County Evaluation Center Detox Division at 4:42 p.m. Thursday with a patient who brought contraband into the facility and wanted to dispose of it. A report will go to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Called to a verbal domestic on North Payne St. at 5:22 p.m. Thursday involving a 31-year-old New Ulm woman and a 47-year-old New Ulm man. A report will go to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Received a call from a group home on Southridge Road at 5:23 p.m. Thursday regarding a Mankato woman who grabbed a knife and locked herself in a bathroom. The woman was transported to the New Ulm Medical Center Emergency Room for a mental health evaluation. Police were called to a disturbance at the same address for the same woman at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Nobody was hurt. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.
