New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 5th North and Garden Street at 7:49 a.m. Tuesday. A 2003 Ford pickup driven by Jesse L. Steinbeisser, 38, New Ulm was northbound when he collided with a 2003 Buick Century driven by Joseph M. Wahl, 34, New Ulm. Damage was minor to the passenger side of the Ford and to the driver’s side of the Buick.
• Received a scam/fraud report at 3:01 p.m. Monday from a resident who said they got a letter from the State of Minnesota that read they filed for unemployment when they did not do so and were still working.
• Arrested a 39-year-old Sleepy Eye man for violating an HRO (Harassment Restraining Order) while standing outside the victim’s residence at 1915 Spring St. N. at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
Sleepy Eye Police
• Received a theft report from a Sleepy Eye woman at 309 Water St. S.W. at 5:38 p.m. Monday. She said her son took $20 from a lunch box. A report was sent to Brown County Probation.
