New Ulm Police
• Called about suspicious activity at 10th St. N. and Washington at 9:22 p.m. Sunday, regarding two juveniles followed by a person driving a white, Pontiac Grand Am. Police stopped a 35-year-old New Ulm woman at 12th N. and Washington who said she was helping her kids look for a missing cell phone. The woman was found to be driving after suspension and possessed a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a controlled substance, open container, and ran a stop sign. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Called about suspicious activity at a home on Dacotah Drive at 1:16 a.m. Monday. An 18-year-old Nicollet male was found to have been invited to the residence by a 16-year-old New Ulm girl. He was later stopped and cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
McLeod County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Dairy Avenue and 110th Street, east of Glencoe at 5:57 p.m. Saturday, July 25. A 2020 Chevrolet Silervado driven by Neil Rasmussen, 65, Winthrop collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic driven by Adrian S. Vasquez, 19, Lester Prairie. Two passengers were transported ot Glencoe Regional Health Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. All occupants wore seat belts.
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at CR2 and 88th Street, south of Glencoe at 5:10 p.m. Sunday, July 26. A 2003 Jeep Liberty driven by Brandon Hildebrandt, 20, Gaylord collided with a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by Steve Benjamin, 59, Glencoe. All occupants wore seat belts.
