New Ulm Police

• A 32-year-old New Ulm woman with two juvenile children called police at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday after she felt she was intimidated by a 44-year-old New Ulm man at the Colonial Inn, 1315 N. Broadway. Police contacted Brown County Human Services who put the woman in contact with the New Ulm Committee Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) who provided the woman and her children safe shelter.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a call about a verbal domestic altercation between a Sleepy Eye woman and man at 620 2nd Ave. S.W. at 12:19 a.m. Wednesday. The couple was separated. A report will go to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 2:27 p.m. Tuesday at 175 S. Elm St. Vesta. A person driving what is believed to be a semi tractor-trailer backed into a parked 2000 Buick LeSabre owned by Jesse L. Schreifles. Car damage was minor. The trailer left a mud flap at the crash scene and the driver left without providing insurance information and identification. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 507-637-4036.
