New Ulm Police
New Ulm Police received a report of a stolen vehicle at 10:39 a.m. Friday from Westridge Road/Garden Street. The vehicle was a black 2011 Nissan 370Z.
New Ulm Police had attempted to stop this vehicle the day before but the driver fled, leading to a pursuit. The driver fled into Nicollet County on County Road 37. Nicollet County sheriff’s deputies picked up the pursuit, but the vehicle escaped.
The car was recovered in Bird Island, Saturday. Nicollet County applied for a warrant to search the vehicle to determine who was driving it during the pursuit.
