Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office

An aggravated robbery was reported at 12:05 a.m. May 28 at 47531 127th St., Lewisville. Deputies responded to a home invasion at a rural Lewisville residence in Blue Earth County. Occupants reported being physically assaulted inside the home by three adult males carrying handguns. The victims said that shots were fired at the scene by at least one of the suspects, but no one was hit. It is believed that the victims and suspects may know one another and there does not appear to be a threat to the general public. Cash and other miscellaneous items were stolen from the residence. The adult male victim was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and the female victim did not receive medical attention.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident with no additional information available for release at this time. Anyone wishing to provide information can call the Blue Earth County Dispatch Center at (507) 304-4863.

Sheriff’s Office

* Arrested a 41-year-old Gibbon man at 2120 N. Broadway at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday for a probation violation.

* Received a theft report at 28246 215th Ave., Milford Township at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday. A big screen television was reported stolen last weekend. A value estimate was not available.

New Ulm Police

* Arrested a 22-year-old New Ulm man at 801 Payne St. S. for stolen property possession at 12:38 p.m. Wednesday.

* Received a scam/fraud report of a counterfeit $100 check received at Citizens Bank Minnesota, 105 Minnesota St. N. at 12:50 p.m. Thursday.a
