New Ulm Police

* Responded to a car-pedestrian crash at 2nd South Street and Payne Street at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday. A 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, entered by a child who shifted the car out of park, rolled backwards down 2nd South Street. The mother of the child tried to stop the car as it rolled back and fell to the ground trying to open a door, and was run over before stopping. The woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance. She complained of back and buttocks pain.

* Received report of a broken basketball rim in Johnson Park, 600 N. German at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday. A damage estimate was not available.

* Received a vandalism report at 1513 N. Payne at 5:46 a.m. Tuesday. A vehicle was spray painted sometime over night. A damage estimate was not available.

McLeod County Sheriff’s Office

* On Tuesday, May 19 at 8:18 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint in the area of Hwy 212 and Nature Ave, east of Brownton. Also responding was the Brownton Police.

Joan Rae Pendleton, 31, of Morton was arrested for providing a Peace Officer False Information and outstanding warrants, and Shawn Matthew Wabasha, age 27, of Morton was arrested on probable cause of 5th Degree Control Substance Possession. Both were transported to the McLeod County Jail. The deputies cleared with reports.
