* Received information about a lock cut off from a storage unit at 1901 N. Franklin St. at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Nothing was reported missing.
Sleepy Eye Police
* Received an assault report at 609 2nd Ave. N.E. at 1:09 p.m. Thursday. A BB gun was taken into evidence in the case involving minor injuries to a 78-year-old Sleepy Eye man. A 54-year-old Sleepy Eye man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center, Detox Division. A report was sent for assault charge consideration was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
