Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries at 4:51 p.m. Thursday on State Highway 60 at 650th Avenue, Butterfield Township, Watonwan County. A 2009 GRDN semi and trailer driven by Timothy R. Vanslyke, 48, Eagan, was eastbound on Highway 60 when it left the road due to high winds, near 650th Avenue. Vanslyke was transported to St. James Hospital. He wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved. Butterfield Ambulance and the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without reported injuries at 13th North and Franklin Street at 4:12 p.m. Thursday. A 2004 Olds Alero driven by Brock Peterson, 17, New Ulm, was exiting the New Ulm Civic Center, heading west when it collided with a 2013 Kia Optima driven by Carrie Meredith, 56, New Ulm who was southbound. Damage was moderate to the right rear of the Olds and moderate to the front end of the Kia.
