New Ulm Police

• Responded to a juvenile trouble report on the 800 block, N. Broadway at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. A mother called about a 16-year-old New Ulm boy making threats. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash with possible injuries on ice and snow at Highland Avenue and Maplewood Drive, New Ulm at 8:40 p.m. Thursday. A vehicle driven by James M. Chernohorsky, 20, New Ulm, was southbound on Highland Avenue when he said the vehicle went sideways and left the road, went onto a median and hit a tree. He wore a seat belt but reported neck pain and was transported to New Ulm Medical Center by ambulance. The passenger side of the vehicle was damaged and a tree owned by the City of New Ulm was sheared off.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries on snow and ice on State Highway 60 at 670th Avenue, Butterfield Township, Watonwan County at 9:25 a.m. Friday. A 2002 Toyota Tundra driven by Douglas J. Strehlo, 58, Faribault, was westbound on Highway 60 when he went into the media, ditch and rolled. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System St. James and wore a seat belt. The Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office and St. James Ambulance assisted.
