Sheriff

• Received a call at 1:36 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11 that Gordon Panning, 88, was run over by a tractor at 16985 158th Street, Hamburg when he was trying to start it from the ground. The tractor was in gear and moved forward when it started, running Panning over. He was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with unknown injuries. Assisting were a Minnesota DNR conservation officer, the Hamburg Fire Dept., Carver County Sheriff’s Office, North Air and Ridgeview Ambulance.

State Patrol

• Received a one-vehicle crash report with non-life threatening injuries on State Highway 4 & 230th Street, Galena Township, Martin County at 12:03 p.m. Wednesday. A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Kimberly M. Carreon, 22, St. James, was northbound on Highway 4 and ran off the road, into the ditch. She was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems, St. James. The Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office, Ormsby Fire Dept. and Trimont Ambulance responded.

New Ulm Police

• Responded to a felony theft report at Menard’s, 2200 Westridge Road at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday. No further information was available on the incident under investigation.
