New Ulm Police

• Arrested a 23-year-old New Ulm man at 106 Washington St. N. at 8:52 a.m. for failing to appear in court and not paying fines for driving after driver’s license suspension and speeding.

State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries on U.S. Highway 212 at 2:08 p.m. Monday. A 2000 Peterbuilt semi truck driven by John E. Wrobleski, 63, Willmar and a 2013 Volvo semi truck driven by Jeffrey M. Weis, 60, Bird Island, were both westbound on Highway 212 when they collided. Weis was transported to Renville County hospital. Wrobleski was not injured. Alcohol was not involved. Stewart and Buffalo Lake Fire Departments and Renville County Ambulance assisted.
