New Ulm Police

• Received a report of stolen property from an unlocked vehicle at 800 Washington St. S. at 6:49 a.m. Thursday. A wallet was taken along with a small amount of cash and possibly a checkbook.

• Received a report of a theft from an unlocked vehicle 15 Washington St. S. at 8:33 a.m. Thursday. A wallet and bank cards were reported stolen from the vehicle.

• Received a report of theft from an unlocked vehicle at 818 8th St. S. 1:11 p.m. Thursday. A wallet, $50 and a debit card were reported stolen.

• Received a report of a theft from two unlocked vehicles at 911 German St. N. at 2:29 p.m. Thursday. A utility knife and $50 in loose change were reported missing.

Sheriff

• Responded to a house that was hit by lightning on Babcock Avenue, south of Lester Prairie, at 5:27 a.m. Wednesday. The building did not catch fire. Also responding was Lester Prairie Fire.

• Assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a one-vehicle rollover in the area of Highway 212 and 9th Street East in Glencoe at 5:26 a.m. Wednesday.
