New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Broadway and 15th South Street at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. A 2014 Buick Regal driven by Samuel J. Moquette, 28, New Ulm was northbound on Broadway in the left turn lane waiting to turn onto 15th South Street when a 2014 Honda Accord driven by Dale L. Drummond, 50. New Ulm, left the Kwik Trip parking lot and turned north onto Broadway. Drummond said he didn’t see the Buick as he entered a turn lane and collided with it. Damage was moderate to both vehicles.

• Responded to an harassment call at 527 S. German St. at 7:03 p.m. Saturday. A A 58-year-old New Ulm was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail for an Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) violation involving a 54-year-old New Ulm woman. Nobody was hurt and there was no damage.

• Responded to a domestic call at 415 6th St. N. at 9:36 p.m. Saturday. A 53-year-old New Ulm man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center detox division. Nobody was hurt and no damage was done.

• Responded to an assault report at 10:17 a.m. Sunday at 100 Minnesota St. S. A 40-year-old Mankato man with a baseball bat broke into an apartment and caused bruising to the lower back and shoulder of the victim. The suspect was found in Guckeen, near Blue Earth, at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Brown County Jail. The victim, a 39-year-old New Ulm man, did not seek medical attention. A report will be sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
