New Ulm Police
• Received a trespass complaint at 826 N. Valley St. at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday. A cover was removed from a swimming pool, but nothing was stolen or damaged.
Sleepy Eye Police
• Received animal complaints at 316 Elm St. N.E. at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday. A man and women reported being bitten by dogs. They did not seek medical attention. A report will be sent to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
• Received a burglary report at the concession building at Sleepy Eye Baseball Park at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday. Entry was attempted but not gained between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon. A $40 door knob was replaced.
Minnesota
State Patrol
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash report on TH 60 at Cottonwood CR 1, Mountain Lake Township at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday. A 2017 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Mary E. Goertzen, 71, Mountain Lake, was southbound on CR 1 when it collided with a 2008 Volvo tractor driven by Duane L. Lande, 64, Lake Park. Goertzen was transported to Windom Area Health with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. Mountain Lake Fire and Police Departments and the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
