New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at Center Street and Broadway at 4:17 p.m. Jan. 18. A 2005 SUV driven by Laura Thomas, 47, New Ulm, was stopped at a red light, southbound on Broadway in the inside traffic lane when it was rear-ended by a 2007 car driven by Allen Kopischke, 43, New Ulm, who said his foot slipped off the brake pedal, as he slowed for the red light. Damage was minor to the SUV and moderate to the car.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 230th Street and 150th Avenue, Waverly Township, Martin County. A 1995 Ford pickup driven by Joshua L. Johnson, 35, Truman, was northbound on 150th Avenue, failed to yield and collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Loren L. Hansen, 61, Odin. Both drivers were transported to Mayo Clinic Health System. Johnson had life-threatening injuries, Hansen had non-life threatening injuries. Johnson did not wear a seat belt, Hansen wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved. Truman Police, Fire and Ambulance and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
