New Ulm Police
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash that occured Saturday at 10:20 p.m. on the 900 block of Minnesota St. N. Camden Bode, 16, was northbound in a 2000 Saturn when he rear-ended a legally parked 1999 Pontiac Sunfire owned by Randall Sturm. Bode admitted to having been distracted. The Sunfire received moderate rear-end damage while the Saturn sustained severe front-end damage.
State Patrol
Two women were injured in an accident around 5 p.m. Sunday on Hwy 4 just south of Nicollet CR 21, Ridgely Twp, Nicollet County. A 2004 Chevy Aveo, driven by Elizabeth Rose Stumpf, 30, of Jeffers, was travelling south on Hwy 4 at CSAH 21 when she lost control and went into the east ditch. Stumpf and her passenger, Cynthia Louise Gohman, 54, also of Jeffers, sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Sleepy Eye Municipal Hospital. The Fairfax Police, Fire and Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
