New Ulm Police

• Vandalism to a vehicle on the 300 block of Linden St. were reported Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 5:20 p.m. The complainants believed their daughter’s friends were responsible for what appeared to be key scratches on a vehicle. The friends later denied any responsibility.

• A possible violation of a Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) was reported Thursday, Sept. 21, at 12:34 p.m. on the first block of Minnesota St. N. when a suspicious note was discovered near the complainant’s door.

• An assault was reported Thursday, Sept. 21, on the first block of Minnesota St. S. at12:39 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend spit in her face and took her baby. Officers later found and returned the baby. The case has been sent to the city attorney to consider charges.
