New Ulm Police

A personal injury crash was reported at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 1 at 12th North and Minnesota Streets.

Steven Krzmarzick, 49, of Sleepy Eye, driving a 2000 Buick, was traveling west on 12th North, and Rosemary Kral, 84, of New Ulm, driving a 2006 Ford, was traveling north on Minnesota Street. Kral did not see the Buick.  The Ford attempted to cross 12th North and struck the Buick.

Krzmarzick sustained minor injuries and his vehicle sustained moderate left-front end damage.  The Ford sustained moderate front-end damage.

Springfield Police

• Received a theft report at Jim’s Market, 101 Central St. W. at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday. A store surveillance video showed a 16-year-old male employee taking money from employees coats. The employee admitted taking the money. The incident remains under investigation.
