New Ulm firefighters respond to Firmenich Inc.
NEW ULM — New Ulm firefighters responded to a fire alarm sounding at Firmenich Inc., 100 N. Valley Street at 1:49 p.m. Friday.
Assistant New Ulm Fire Chief Aaron Wilfahrt said a fire alarm sounded after water was flowing from two sprinkler heads in a wash basin, but there was no actual fire. Wilfahrt said the sprinkler heads were replaced.
Firefighters and a Goosetown pumper truck were at the scene for about 20 minutes before returning to the fire station.
