Feds investigate shooting at border crossing

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Authorities say a person was wounded near the Canadian border in New Hampshire early Sunday by a U.S. Border Patrol agent who was returning fire. Officials said Monday the person was taken to a hospital. The FBI says the shots were fired around 1 a.m. Sunday in a small northern New Hampshire town. The FBI did not provide a name of the suspect and says the border patrol agent was unharmed.
