LAMBERTON — The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating the death of a man found inside a grain bin in rural Lamberton early Tuesday morning.

Around 1:46 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office said it received a call to help search for a missing person at a rural residence near Lamberton, a news release said.

While deputies were on their way to the residence, dispatch received updated information that the missing person had been located inside a grain bin, the Sheriff’s Office said. Emergency responders found a deceased adult male inside the bin.

The Sheriff’s Office said the man’s identity would not be released until proper notification was completed. The case is under investigation.

The Lamberton Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
