NEW ULM - 100 Women Who Care New Ulm Area will be meeting from 6-7pm Sunday, April 6th at the New Ulm Country Club. This is a community organization that meets twice a year to benefit local non-profits with a $100 check from each member. Members nominate a local non-profit and three are randomly selected for consideration. Each chosen organization has five minutes to explain how the money raised would benefit their mission. NEW ULM – The semi-annual Civic Center Garage Sale hosted by New Ulm’s Park and Recreation is 8 am to noon Saturday, April 5. It is expected to draw a large crowd to the Civic Center’s south arena. This year’s spring sale is free for those who want to shop and browse the multiple vendors all in one location.
