New Ulm Area Foundation Holds Annual Meeting

NEW ULM — New Ulm Area Foundation, Inc. (NUAF), held its Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 20 and elected Colleen Skillings as a new board member.

Officers re-elected were Kathy Van Roekel (President), Shannon Hillesheim (Vice President), and Jenna Peterson (Treasurer/Secretary). Committee assignments for 2025 were approved by the board. Mark Furth completed his 3-year term and chose to not stand for re-election. NUAF is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors.

NUAF is a 501(c)(3) public charity non-profit corporation and community foundation supporting the quality of life within the geographic reach of ISD 88.

NUAF was founded in 1987. Its mission is to address the needs of the community by growing endowment funds and providing financial grants from the earnings of those funds. Through the generosity of its donors and benefactors NUAF has granted back over $1.5M to the community (grants + scholarships).
