United Way’s Back to School Backpack Project

Each year, the United Way of the Brown County Area, with the support of program sponsors and donors, provides a new backpack and school supplies to eligible area students. This year, the Heart of New Ulm is partnering with the United Way Backpack Project to offer families additional free resources and fun activities through a Community Connection Resource Event. Family Night on the farm

The New Ulm Farm-City Hub Club is bringing the 2026 Family Night on the Farm to Steve and Kerry Hoffman Farm. The Hoffman Farm is located at 18868 140th Avenue, New Ulm and will host the Family Night from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 23. NEW ULM - The New Ulm Film Society’s (NUFS) musical series continues Tuesday, despite a 100% chance of rain with a high probability of singing in it. The screening begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at the New Ulm Public Library. “Singin’ in the Rain” was released in 1952 and is a contender for the greatest film musical of all time.
