Turner Talk on voting

New Ulm - Turner Hall, the League of Women Voters New Ulm and the New Ulm Public Library are joining to offering an informational meeting on voting called Voter 1010. Voter 101 is a Turner Talk presentation featuring Melanie Hazelip, Voter Outreach Director with the Office of Minnesota Secretary of State. It will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Turner Hall. United Way’s Back to School Backpack Project

Each year, the United Way of the Brown County Area, with the support of program sponsors and donors, provides a new backpack and school supplies to eligible area students. This year, the Heart of New Ulm is partnering with the United Way Backpack Project to offer families additional free resources and fun activities through a Community Connection Resource Event.
