NEW ULM – The New Ulm Film Society (NUFS) continues to encroach on musical theater’s turf, with a screening of “West Side Story,” which could lead to a rumble. The film screening begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the New Ulm Public Library. “West Side Story” is the fourth film in the New Ulm Film Society musical film series and is often cited as one of the greatest film musicals of all time. RED WOOD FALLS – The Democratic Farmer Labor Party, Senate District 15, is celebrating its 20th annual Corn Feed on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 5pm – 7:30pm at Ramsey Park, Lower Shelter, 99 E Oak Street, Redwood Falls. The Corn Feed is an annual event following the 2nd day of Farm Fest that draws nearly 200 rural DFLers to enjoy food and conversation.
