• Friday Night Lights Skate will be held Feb. 27, March 6 and 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The program open to anyone age 10 and older or under 10 (required) accompanied by an adult. Children 4 and under are free with paid adult and 5 and up are $7. Rental skates are available for $3.

•Date Night Pottery program offered 6-8 p.m. Feb 27 and March 5 and Personal Chip-Dip Bowl offered March 20 and 27. Classes are Friday nights at the Community Center, 600 N German and require pre-registration.

•Vogel Fieldhouse (gym courts and track only) will be closed all day on February 21 and 22 for a volleyball tournament. The remainder of the Rec Center will be open regular hours.

• Spring Garage Sale Saturday, April 11 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Anyone interested in being a vendor, stop by the Rec Center to reserve and pay for a spot, which includes 3 8-ft tables.

• Outdoor skating rinks at Harman Park are closed for the season.

• Two pickleball nets up at Lincoln for play during those nice weather days.

• A section of the recreation trail at South German Park between 3rd and 7th Street is closed due to a washout

• Tot time in the gym is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday and Fridays. Tot Swim is 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays in the shallow only part of the pool. The cost is $3 per tot and includes use of the indoor playground.

•Rec Center Hours: Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open Swim is Wednesdays 4-6:30 p.m., Fridays 4-8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 12-4 p.m. Membership, punch card or daily admission applies. Lap swim schedule can be found online.
