Park and Rec
• Winter/Spring registration is open and the activity guide is available online. Individuals may register online or in person at the Rec Center.
•Friday Night Lights Skate is held Jan. 23 and 3:30-5:15; February 13, 20, 27, March 6 and 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Program open to anyone age 10 and older or under 10 (required) accompanied by an adult. Children 4 and under are free with paid adult and 5 and up are $7. Rental skates are available for $3.
•Swim Club starts January 27-February 19 from 3:30-4:30 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Register online or at the Rec Center.
•Date Night Pottery program offered Jan 30 and Feb 6 from 6-8 p.m. Simple Gnome Feb 27 and March 5 and Personal Chip-Dip Bowl offered March 20 and 27. Classes are Friday nights at the Community Center, 600 N German and require pre-registration.
•Youth Pottery at the Community Center is being offered Saturdays Jan 31, Feb 7, 14 and 28 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Preregistration is required online or at the Rec Center.
•Adult Swim Lessons will be offered Wednesdays Feb 4 through March 25 (no lessons March 11) from 7-7:40 p.m. at the Rec Center’s indoor pool. Register online or at the Rec Center.
• Tot time in the gym is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday and Fridays. Tot Swim is 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays in the shallow only part of the pool. The cost is $3 per tot and includes use of the indoor playground.
•Facility Reservations are available in person at the Rec Center and shelter reservations are now available online.
•Rec Center Hours: Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open Swim is Wednesdays 4-6:30 p.m., Fridays 4-8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 12-4 p.m. Membership, punch card or daily admission applies. Lap swim schedule can be found online.
