NEW ULM – The Red Cross collected 174 units of blood during the three day blood drive at the New Ulm Community Civic Center. The Red Gross fell short of its 212 unit goal by 38 units.

Fourteen pins were awarded during the three days.

Melvin Stadick received the 17 gallon pin. Charles Beitlich received the 14 gallon pin. Doreen Britz received the 13 gal pin.

Deb Jones Mead, Daryle Fischer and Gary Besser each received the 12 gallon pin.

Mark Weinkauf received the 8 gallon pin. Matthew Mages was awarded the 6 gallon pin.

Dale Aufderheide and James Hofmeister each received the 5 gallon pin.

Breanna Linn and Jole Thomford received the 4 gallon pin.

Suzanne Ness and William Wurtz received the 1 gallon pin.
