NUHS Knowledge Bowl Teams finish 1st, 4th

NUHS Knowledge Bowl teams finished 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, placing five teams in the top ten at the meet in Mankato on Wednesday, January 7.

Forty-one teams competed from New Ulm High School, MVL, Fairmont, Mankato West, LCWM, Nicollet, GFW, LS-H, and Maple River.

New Ulm High School’s Purple Knowledge Bowl team kicked off the season by securing first place with a score of 116. MVL Black took second place with a score of 89.5, and Fairmont Oatmeal took third place with a score of 86.5. New Ulm Maroon also had a score of 86.5 but lost the tie-breaker to Fairmont. NUHS KB teams’ next competition will be on Wednesday, January 21 in Mankato.
