Klawitter receives full scholarship through QuestBridge
Cathedral High School (CHS) senior Logan Klawitter is the recipient of a full four-year QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship.
NEW ULM — Cathedral High School (CHS) senior Logan Klawitter, son of Reese and Tamara Klawitter, has been admitted to Boston College with a full four-year QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship.
“I am just so thankful to Boston College, QuestBridge, and all those who have helped me in my application, Klawitter said on receiving news of the scholarship. “This will be a great opportunity, and I am so excited to be at Boston College.”
At Cathedral High School, Klawitter was a multi-sport athlete at CHS; participating in the Drama Club, acting in multiple theater productions. In also participated through in Robotics, Knowledge Bowl and was recognized as a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student and an ExCEL (Excellence in Community, Education, and Leadership) nominee.
“Beyond his achievements in the classroom and activities, Logan stands out for his kindness, incredible work ethic, and willingness to serve others,” CHS Principal Erica DeVries said. “We are confident Logan will continue to shine at Boston College as he pursues a Biochemistry degree and prepares for a future in medicine.”
QuestBridge was founded 30 years ago and focused on creating opportunities for students from low-income backgrounds to further their education. This year, QuestBridge’s 55 college partners matched with 2,550 Finalists, who are recognized as Match Scholarship Recipients.
Each Match Scholarship Recipient receives early admission and a full four-year scholarship to a QuestBridge college partner. The Match Scholarship — provided by the school — is made up of financial aid package that covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing and food, books and supplies, and travel expenses.
The QuestBridge National College Match has successfully connected over 19,000 students with full scholarships across the nation.
