Springfield Nativity Pageant presented December 13-14
The Springfield Area Nativity Theatre Association (S.A.N.T.A.), Springfield, Minnesota, will present it’s Annual Outdoor Nativity Pageant Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14.
Named the “Best Outdoor Pageant in the State of Minnesota” in 2017 by WCCO television, it has been a holiday tradition for many for the past 39 years.
The Nativity Pageant is a re-enactment of the story of the First Christmas, telling the story of Mary and Joseph and the birth of Baby Jesus in Bethlehem. It is presented by an all-volunteer cast in narration form along with accompaniment by a community choir and live animals including camels and is all outdoors.
The Pageant will be presented each evening at 6 p.m. on the east parking of the Springfield Area Community Center in downtown Springfield. There has never been an admission charge to attend–it is considered a gift from the community. Visit springfieldmnnativitypageant.com for more details.
