Park & Rec

• Broomball at the Civic Center every first and third Wednesday starting November 5. Everyone’s welcome to join. Admission is $5 with punch card or membership applying. Equipment is limited.

• The Harvest Float special swim is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 at the aquatic center. From 4-53:30 p.m. the Ninja Cross will be open. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. inner tubes will be allowed. Regular admission and membership apply.

• K-1st Grade Basketball Camps are Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, December 7 at the Rec Center where youth can learn fundamentals of basketball with age-appropriate drills and skill building games. Register is currently full, but a waitlist is available.

• Tot time in the gym is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday and Fridays. Tot Swim is 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays in the shallow only part of the pool. The cost is $3 per tot and includes use of the indoor playground.

• Rec Center is open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

• Swim times are 4-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Friday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Membership, punch card or daily admission applies. Lap swim schedule can be found online.

• Open Skate and open hockey at the Civic Center offered weekly at various times. Check the schedules online at https://newulmmn.gov/285/Open-Skate-Hockey-Ice-Skating

• Santa Skate is 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday Dec 7 at the New Ulm Civic Center. Admission is free with donation to the New Ulm Area Food Shelf.

• Candy Cane Swim from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday December 21. Ninja Cross offered from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and Log Roller from 6 to 8 p.m

• Noon Year’s Eve December 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., New Ulm Civic Center celebration. Join us for games, crafts, music and countdown to noon, complete with a festive ball drop. Admission is free through partnership with the New Ulm Public Library.
