NEW ULM — The Tea for Cancer Foundation (TFC) was invited to speak at a recent meeting of the Sleepy Eye Lions Club. Representatives of the Foundation shared the story behind their mission–providing financial grants and comfort to local families affected by cancer–and the impact their work has had across the region.

The Foundation was surprise to received a $500 donation from, the Sleepy Eye Lions Club.

“We were truly touched by their warm welcome and their belief in what we do,” said Sandy Reinke, President of Tea for Cancer. “Support from civic groups like the Sleepy Eye Lions allows us to keep providing financial support to local families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. We’re incredibly grateful.”
