Area firefighter compete in water fight

COURTLAND – Saturday firefighters from Gaylord, Lafayette and Courtland took part in a friendly water fight.

The contest took place in Courtland outside the fire station and involved hose teams going head to head to push a barrel along a cable. Which ever team could push the barrel with water further into the other teams zone within a certain time period, won the competition. The competition was double elimination and in the end The Gaylord team came away victorious.
