Seminar offered build understanding across ages

NEW ULM — Helping Young Professionals Evolve (HYPE) is hosting a seminar on understanding and navigating generational differences called “Generations & the Workplace.

The half-day seminar is 1-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15. at the New Ulm Country Club. The purpose of the seminar is to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and enhance collaboration.

The event is organized by HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Evolve), a program of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce focused on supporting professionals ages 21-40. The seminar is open to all community members. The content is relevant to anyone who works, volunteers, serves on a board, or simply wants to better connect with people across generations.

The program will be led by two speakers. Brenda Clark Hamilton, a nationally recognized keynote speaker, will lead an engaging, interactive session on recognizing and appreciating generational differences.

Ann Vote, founder of IMPACT to Influence, will follow with interactive, hands-on activities to help attendees put what they’ve learned into action. The cost to attend is $75 for Chamber Members / $100 for non-members.
