NEW ULM – New Ulm American Legion Seifert Bianchi Post # 132 sponsored four local boys to attend Boy’s State this week at St John’s University. Henry Albrecht, Ryan Johnson, Logan Klawitter, and Anton Pyon are spending the week at St John’s learning about how our government works and will be putting together a Boy’s State government throughout the week. At the end of the week, the 173 delegates from across the state will elect a Governor and State Legislature, then they will work to enact laws. This mock government experience provided by the American Legion is in it’s 76th year here in Minnesota. Later this year, Minnesota will send two boys from Boy’s State to Washington D.C. for a week as a part of Boy’s Nation.
