Brown Co. Historical Society to present History of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office

NEW ULM – The Brown County Historical Society (BCHS) invites the public to attend Lunch and a Bite of History on Thursday, June 12, featuring a special presentation by Sheriff Jason Seidl: “The History of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.”

The program will take place from 12p.m. to 1p.m. at the Brown County Museum Annex. The presentation will cover the evolution of law enforcement in Brown County. Sheriff Seidl will share the rich history of the sheriff’s office, spotlighting notable sheriffs who have served the county over the years. The presentation will also include stories of memorable cases, key moments in the department’s development, and changes in its physical location throughout history.
